Project Overview
As part of the National Seismic Risk Mitigation Program (NSRMP), DDF Consultants Private Limited, in a joint venture with the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat India (AKDN), undertook a consultancy project to assess earthquake-related risks in government buildings across India.
Brisk Olive supported the project by coordinating and executing rapid visual surveys in Meghalaya and Manipur, where challenging terrain, weather conditions, and COVID-19 restrictions complicated field operations.
The project focused on collecting accurate building data to help identify facilities that might require retrofitting to improve earthquake resilience.
Client Requirement
The client required a technically competent field team to conduct Rapid Visual Screening (RVS) and measurement surveys of government facilities within the stipulated timeline. Key requirements included:
Complete the surveys within 30 days of the work order.
Assess buildings using approved RVS questionnaires and parameters.
